A cell whose counts are all withheld or zero is grey hatched ( cells, %, for the heating); one whose published counts hold less than half its buildings is hatched, as are the rents the census calls uncertain. In cells fewer than 10 buildings are counted, and there the census's random adjustment weighs most, so their lines say \"small counts, adjusted at random by the census\". Every value belongs to its cell, never to one building: the label on a cell says so, and a building's panel lists its cell's values under \"Its area\" ( buildings stand in a cell). Every number, class and choice is written down in the code's METHODS.md, every source in its SOURCES.md.","about.cost.3":"Two more lenses show the city's own models, so they say \"indicative\". Solar colours every building by how well its roof suits solar panels, from the city's solar model, made in 2025 from the 3D city model: buildings have a roof large enough for at least one standard module, of them mostly of high suitability, more sun a brighter gold. Each of the model's roof surfaces with a building on the map names that building by its id, so the roofs fall to the right buildings. The model marks buildings as listed; the of them found on the map are violet, and have a suitable roof. Nothing says that listing forbids solar panels: it means they need heritage consent, which is what the legend says. The heating maps measure heated floor area per block, the census counts buildings with homes per 100 m cell, so the legend says to compare the pictures, not the numbers.
